Historic Point Basse welcomes back reenactors from around Wisconsin and Minnesota to Civil War Days.

Each day will offer a Skirmish featuring infantry, artillery, and cavalry.  Cannons and muskets will sound the battle cry – and you will be there for every moment!  

Artillery and Cavalry demonstrations and Infantry drills will occur throughout each day.  Watch as Abraham Lincoln plans with the Federal officers and have your picture taken with him!  Visit the Civilian Camp and learn how the war affected the family back home. Saturday night features a Period Dance with Period Music.  Those with tickets may return and attend.  The South Wood County Historical Society will sponsor a display of Civil War artifacts in the Wakely House.  Demos include Civil War Mail, Tintype/Ferrotype pictures, and a Civil War Sutler.  Food and Beverages will be available.
