Join us for a unique and fun way to support cancer patients with the "No Run Rock Out - Zero K Run and Concert for Cancer" event, hosted by the Fighting from Start to Finish Foundation. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun and family-friendly event, this is your chance to make a difference!

Event Details:

Gates Open: 4:30 PM
Zero K Run Start Time: 6:00 PM
Concert with Boogie & The Yo-Yoz: 7:00 PM - 10:30 PM

What’s a Zero K Run?
It’s the perfect event for those who want to support a great cause but don’t want to break a sweat! No need to run—just show up, enjoy the fun, and celebrate your participation with a token of completion at the finish line. The Zero K Run is all about raising funds for cancer patients, so get ready to rock out for a cause!

Raise Money for Cancer
Participants have the opportunity to raise sponsorships from family, friends, and colleagues. The person in each age category who raises the most funds will be crowned the winner, recognized at the event and receive a prize!

Fun for the Whole Family

Food Trucks: Available from 4:30 PM through the evening
Family-Friendly Fun & Games: Activities to entertain all ages until 7:00 PM
50/50 and other fun for the adults!
Boogie & The Yo-Yoz Concert from 7:00 PM to 10:30 PM! Enjoy the music, grab a drink, and support a great cause all night long.

Race Fee: 10 and under Free, 11-20 $10, 21+ $20

Tokens of Completion: All participants will receive a commemorative token of completion, and a complimentary beverage!

Live Music @ Hoozels at the Lakes

Featuring: Boogie and the Yo Yoz

Boogie and the Yo-Yoz’ current roster is made up of an all-star 8 member team with a dynamic range of musical capabilities. Original members, Dave Lange (bas guitar) and Eric Peters (lead guitar) are backed up by an all-star cast including Kevin Baker on drums, Paige Baker as female lead vocalist, Lorenzo Fredenberg as male lead vocalist, Mike Barden on keys, and Jake Opperman on sax (and anything else that needs playing). Their newest member, John Leja fills a vacancy on rhythm guitar, but also plays trumpet and other instruments. Every member of this band is a career musician and entertainer. We are dedicated to bringing their fans the highest quality most engaging live music experience possible.

Bear & Coon Hunt (Monroe Prairie ATV/UTV Club)

Bring your spotlight flashlight and join the fun as Monroe Prairie ATV club host. It’s an annual Baron coon hunt. Riders will run the woods through our trails, searching high low and in between for those pesky bandits. The more raccoons you find, the better chances of winning a prize!

Members are $10 each, non-members $15 each.
Optional bear tag is an additional five dollars each. Tags must be purchased prior to the hunt. Winning Hunter gets 50% of the bear tag pot.

Registration starts at 5:45 PM. First machines out at dusk, which will be approximately 7:15 PM. Last machine in at 10 PM.

Cash prizes will be 80% of the payout. 20% is for the benefit of Monroe Prairie ATV club

Did you know we have TONS of FREE trails in Rome? That's right, whether you're new to the area or a local resident, there's plenty of places to explore. We'll be picking a trail each month to hike and we invite community members to join us.

Helpful Hints:

-Bring water!

-Wear good hiking boots/shoes, as we’ll be going up and down terrain (so no flip flops allowed!)

-Feel free to bring a hiking pole/walking stick if needed.

Historic Point Basse Harvest Fair

From Farm to Table - experience the Harvest Experience as it was in the mid-1800's.  At Historic Point Basse, harvest is in full swing with apple juice pressing and sauerkraut making.  You can sign up online for the Foraging Class for Beginners at www.historicpointbasse.com.  There will be samples to taste of foods that were made back in the day - and are still made today.  Lunch can be purchased from the Heart of Wisconsin Genealogy Society.  This is an autumn event you will not want to miss!
