Book Battleship

Tri Norse Honor Climb
On September 11th, Tri Norse Outdoor Park invites our community to come together to honor and remember the lives lost on 9/11.
Join us for an Honor Climb, where we’ll climb 300+ stairs at the hill as a meaningful tribute to those who were taken from us and the countless people whose lives were forever changed.

Harvest Fair @ Historic Point Basse
HARVEST FAIR - Sat., Sept. 12 - 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
It's that time of the year when farmers and gardeners start harvesting the crops that they planted in the spring. And it's no different at Historic Point Basse! Come out and see apples being pressed into cider, and cabbage prepared for sauerkraut. You will enjoy the Taster's Table, where you can taste food just like they canned it in the 1800's in preparation for winter. Food and beverages will be available.

This event will serve as both a preview and our official kickoff for Spotlight Series 2027, where we’ll announce our incredible songwriters for the annual series taking place February 18-20!
We have a limited number of VIP reserved seats right near the stage where chairs will be provided, as well as two complimentary drink tickets. Additional perks may be added in coordination with our headliner. Monty Criswell is a ACM, CMA, Dove, Canadian CMA and People’s Choice Awards nominee along with being a 2-time GRAMMY nominee for Country Song of the Year (“I Saw God Today” and “Just Fishin’”). “I Saw God Today” was awarded CMA Single of the Year in 2008. His songs have been featured on ESPN, ABC, NBC, CBS, the SEC Network, the Hallmark Channel, Netflix, and the hit TV series Yellowstone.

Monroe Prairie ATV/UTV Club: Bear & Coon Hunt
Bring your spotlight flashlight and join the fun as Monroe Prairie ATV club host. It’s an annual Baron coon hunt. Riders will run the woods through our trails, searching high low and in between for those pesky bandits. The more raccoons you find, the better chances of winning a prize!
Members are $10 each, non-members $15 each.
Optional bear tag is an additional five dollars each. Tags must be purchased prior to the hunt. Winning Hunter gets 50% of the bear tag pot.
Registration starts at 5:45 PM. First machines out at dusk, which will be approximately 7:15 PM. Last machine in at 10 PM.
Cash prizes will be 80% of the payout. 20% is for the benefit of Monroe Prairie ATV club

Fall Felt Garland

Travel back in time to experience the sights, sounds, and even the smells of 18th century life at a French outpost during the fur trade era. Witness skilled artisans demonstrating traditional crafts and trades that were essential for survival, from tanning hides to forging iron tools. Immerse yourself in the ambiance of the era as participants dressed in authentic reproductions of clothing worn by people from all walks of life in the 18th century. Be dazzled by the splendid and precise military drills of the French soldiers.
Take in the scents of the 18th century, from the sweet fragrances of kettles simmering over open fires to the pungent smell of wood smoke. Catch the whiff of molten lead, hot iron, and black powder mingling with the aroma of melting candle wax. Savor the flavors from another time as participants prepare traditional foods over an open fire, including parched wild rice with maple sugar, spiced apple cider, and roasted pumpkins filled with blueberries and cranberries. Get a taste of history as you experience life as it was lived centuries ago.
