Wood County ATV Park
ATV trail riding
Located about 20 minutes from Rome, Wood County ATV Park is a simple nearby option for riders looking to add more trail time to their trip. It offers 10 miles of ATV trails, is open daily from dawn until dusk, has no riding fee, and is open year-round except during deer season. The live page notes that motorcycles are not advised.
Adams County
ATV/UTV Trails
Adams County offers 32 miles of off-road ATV/UTV trails, with plans to expand the system as resources allow. ATV/UTV use is limited in county parks, with designated access and parking available at Petenwell Park and Castle Rock Park. ATV/UTVs are not permitted on snowmobile trails.

Dyracuse Recreational Park
ATV, UTV, motorcycle, and off-road riding
One of the top power sports destinations in the area, Dyracuse Recreational Park offers more than 700 acres of riding with motocross and Pee Wee tracks, over 10 miles of trails, a sand bowl, a mud play area, and a challenge course. It is designed for a range of riding abilities and also includes restrooms, picnic areas, grills, a shelter house, and a playground.

ATV & UTV Trail Info
Rome is a convenient basecamp for ATV and UTV riding, with marked local routes and access to nearby county trail systems. Because route access can change, riders should always follow posted signs and check the most current local maps before heading out.
Trail Season & Maps
County ATV and UTV trails open the first Saturday in May and close the Sunday before rifle deer season begins. For updated maps and route guidance, stop by the Visit Rome office or the Rome Municipal Building before you ride.

Rapid Angels
A longtime local motorcycle club with strong ties to Dyracuse Recreational Park and annual riding events in the area, including motocross, hill climb, harescramble, Grand Prix, and youth learn-to-ride events.
Monroe Prairie ATV/UTV Club
